Wa All Stars have won the Ghana Premier League after a 2-1 victory over fellow contenders Aduana Stars at the Malik Jabir Park, Wa on Wednesday.
Sadiq Alhassan scored a late winner from a penalty kick to give Wa All Stars their first top-flight silverware in their history.

The win capped a memorable season for All Stars who become the first team from the three Northern regions to lift the Ghana Premier League trophy.
Paul Asare de Vries gave Wa All Stars a deserved lead in the opening stages before Bright Adjei drew the visitors level.
A contentious penalty which ultimately decided the tie late in second half saw Aduana players depart the pitch in protest but they returned later.
The incident increased the pressure on the penalty taker Alhassan, but he held his nerve to put the ball into the net.
Wa All Stars with only a game to end the season have had a constant lead on their nearest rivals Aduana Stars.
