Would you agree with me that the mere fact that Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale are all signed to one record label doesn’t mean they should agree on issues all the time? Well that’s exactly what is happening now.
Shatta Wale’s recent threat to burn down churches did not sit well with Stonebwoy and he’s gone after his label mate for that kind of comment. Stonebwoy has disagreed publicly with Shatta Wale on his recent threat to burn down churches if a death prophesy on him never comes to pass.
As you’ll recall, the ‘dancehall king’ went all nuts after a pastor prophesied, in the wake of Ebony’s death, that Wale would die before the end of this year.
Unhappy with that prophesy, Wale recorded a Facebook Live video and threatened to lead the SM Movement to burn down churches all over Ghana in December if he’s not dead by then.
Responding to the threat, Stonebwoy, speaking on Hitz Fm Thursday, said Shatta Wale’s actions were disrespectful.
“In my opinion, that is overly disrespectful… that is too disrespectful to say ‘you go’ burn down churches. That means you are going beyond prophecy to burn down churches”.
he told Prince Tsegah.
Despite Wale’s show of courage and being unperturbed by the death prophesy, Wale seems to be taking steps behind the scenes to ensure the prophecy never comes true.
