Former president John Agyekum Kuffour and Ghanaian rap artist Michael Owusu Addo well known in Showbiz as Sarkodie have been selected as part of 23 speakers for the upcoming World Tourism Forum, Africa Summit 2017 expected to be held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, Ghana on October 10 2017.
Notable among the speakers are President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Jack Straw, Bulut Bağcı, Akwasi Agyeman, Dentaa Amoateng and many others.
As part of agenda, the speakers will speak on Destination marketing in Africa, Tourism Investment in Africa, The Political Impacts of Tourism in Africa Region, Heading to the Limitless Era: E-Tourism, Regional Differences in Hotel Management& Marketing. The event will then end with a celebrity talks which will be hosted by Dentaa Amoateng, Founder, GUBA.
The Africa Summit is an international and large scaled one-day event. Leaders shaping the world tourism, CEOs and Vice Presidents from global companies, heads of national promotion offices, senior executives from investment companies, travel agencies running major operations and senior executives from tour operators will participate in the Africa Summit organization as participants and speakers.
Founded in 2014, the World Tourism Forum has its headquarters in Istanbul and engages with civil society activities under the umbrella of the Young Tourism Leaders Association.
This is the first time any African country has been chosen to host the event.
