Ghanaian talented music group Menn On Poinnt, made-up of Reggae/ Dancehall artiste Reggie Zippy and rapper Bollie, after enjoying extensive publicity about making it to the second round of BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT show in the United Kingdom, failed to make it to the third round which is the celebrity judges round.
Reggie Zippy revealed that the researcher who was working on their profile called him to inform him that they weren’t selected to the round three.
He explained that, the organizers wanted to get their producer to sign a release form before they filmed for TV due to copyrights considerations – but things didn’t work out for them.
To Reggie Zippy, though they couldn’t make it to the celebrity judges round, the main reasons for going to the audition has been achieved.
“We went to the Britain’s Got Talent Audition because we needed the opportunity to push our music career forward and also re-launch ourselves in the UK music industry, and with the second round we got to, it’s still a good profile we can use to get to our peak.”
Sharing the future plans of their music group, he said that they have not just formed a group, but a band as well with four tracks ready and 6 more to make up the full album.
Narrating how and why he and Bollie decided to come together as a group, he said that Bollie called him on his birthday to wish him happy birthday and since then, they started talking about the way forward for the Ghanaian music industry and one thing led to the other – they finally decided to come together.
He used the opportunity to thank their fans for their support and asked them to expect their great comeback into the Ghanaian music industry.
