President of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has urged Ghanaian entertainers not to allow division to set into the creative industry.
In a tweet, Mr. Mahama entreated celebrities to avoid the use of abusive and highly critical language. According to him, there is already enough division and use of such words in Ghana’s politics and extending it to the creative arts will not help the country. President Mahama government has been under serious criticism by celebrities for failing to deal with the current power situation in Ghana.
“The division in our politics is bad enough. Let it not spread to our creative industry. Let’s cease the polemics. —JM”, he pleaded.
