President John Dramani Mahama, on Monday evening commissioned the ultra modern Kwame Nkrumah interchange and My-Oh!-My the fireworks were crazy.
The Kwame Nkrumah interchange formally known as Kwame Nkrumah circle is one the massive infrastructure investment touted by president Mahama and the ruling NDC. The interchange which is a dual carriage fly over road to reduce traffic on the road. The then Kwame Nkrumah circle was widely know for it’s heavy traffic which according to the president cost the nation about $100 million. Thousand of Ghanaians, mostly in NDC colours were at the Kwame Nkrumah interchange to catch a glimpse of the ‘Dubai In Ghana’.
The 74.88 million euro project which commenced in 2013 according to the President will ease vehicular traffic considerably in the capital city.
