Kumawood sensation, Kojo Nkansah ‘Liwin’ has starred alongside Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim in a new Kumawood movie. The new movie, ‘Order From Above’ also features Van Vicker, Prince David, Kwaku Manu and Charlotte Derban.
Juliet Ibrahim revealed in an interview that she is overwhelmed by the unity of both industries “Accra and Kumasi”. Although this is her first time, the fine actress could not hide her love for Kumawood movies. Over the weekend, she said on Happy FM that her wish for the Ghana movie Industry is to have a common name to breach the division in the industries.
Kojo Nkansah ‘Liwin’, has on the other hand has also starred in a couple of “Twi-Glish” with Majid Michel, Jackie Appiah and Van Vicker. For Prince David and Charlotte Derban, it’s their first Kumawood role but Prince’s second Twi Movie. His first, “What a Shock” was shot in Accra and directed by Kobi Rana. From sources, the two have gotten another pending role to shoot for King Sober Production.
Another Kumawood star in the movie is Kwaku Manu who play a supporting role alongside Van Vicker in his award-winning ‘Broni W’awu’ Kumawood movie. The ‘Order From Above’ movie should be ready for premiere in July.
