Ghana to benefit 10,000 shoes from Abraham Attah’s Tom’s shoe at Oscar

Ghanaian actor and Beasts of No Nations star Abraham Attah arrived at the 88th annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles dressed in a black tuxedo and velvet TOMS.

In an interview with E! correspondent Ryan Seacrest, Abraham Attah revealed the shoe brand will donate 10,000 pairs of shoes to the people of Ghana because he chose to wear their shoe on the night. Later the shoe brand also announced this decision on twitter too.

The for-profit shoe brand donates a pair of shoes to children in need for every pair sold.

Abraham Attah was spotted wearing lace-up TOMS at the Independent Spirit Awards where he won Best Actor in Lead Role for the movie, Beasts of No Nations.
