Winner of VGMA 2018 hiphop song of the year, Kwesi Arthur is making great strides in the music industry and has disclosed in his recent interview with the BBC, that music was never part of his plans growing up.
The BET nominee disclosed that he would have been a footballer but had a change of mind later on in Secondary school when he started listening to more of Drake’s music and that was when he got motivated to do music.

Kwesi Arthur who was nominated at this year’s BET but lost told BBC’s Focus on Africa that his kind of music talks about people who grow up poor but keep working hard because they want to be able to achieve something.
He also added that, he couldn’t go to the university because his parents couldn’t afford to do that and that he’s now in a position to be able to talk about these things through music and make others to know that, their dreams should not be limited by where they can come from.
