Discovery: Meet Slicker STK, the Rapper who has over 40 songs as an up and upcoming artiste

Slicker STK, the Rapper, singer and business administrator who has gained attention on social media has told his story. Just like M.anifest, EL and Sarkodie,  Slicker STK is another artiste that has mind blowing punches and is set to be on top.
In an exclusive interview with the 2008 Stars of The Future finalist, Slicker STK aimed high at delivering the best and making music lovers happy. The artiste who admires rapper ‘Nas’, says he is very confident of breaking through the Ghanaian music scene because he has good songs.

“My influences have been hugely foreign. I’m for Nas, I grow from every step I take and I believe I’m only as good as my last song. I do good songs for the fans. The creator must concern himself with making good songs” 

Slicker STK revealed in an interview 

The rapper exclusively revealed that he has 40 good tracks to his credit. He also shared his thoughts as to whether Stonebwoy deserved that BET Nomination. He said, 

“With the year under review I think Stonebwoy was more visible on the international level so he does deserve the slot. Shatta was hot locally not really on the African level tho”.

The mic burner talked more about his career and how he started in the interview, 

“I am a normal guy. Growing up was normal for me. I must say that I’ve always been about the music. I was and still am interested in music, gadgets and technology. But, I started music 13 years ago with Asem, Kwabena Kwabena and Magnom. They were my seniors. I never gave up, Its the passion and love for music that drives me”, 

He added.
Slicker STK highlighted on his new single which is yet to be released, dubbed “JOLLOF” which features Gasmilla.

“My latest work is Jollof. It features Gasmilla which drops in mid June. Well everyone loves Jollof I dearsay. With that and Waakye you couldn’t go wrong. But this tune has more to it than the mere jollof”, 

He concluded.
