CEO of Charterhouse, Mrs. Theresa Ayoade has told JoyNews that her outfit is considering a ban punishment for Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy for their role in the brawl that happened at the VGMA.
She said Charterhouse is far bigger than the two artistes and that the VGMAs has their own rules and regulations. She revealed the VGMA Board will soon announce whatever sanction they deem fit for both Shatta wale and Stonebwoy.
“Our music industry is too big and two personalities cannot be the downfall of our industry. The industry existed way before they joined it and will continue to exist . The industry will continue to thrive, VGMA will move to higher level and I believe these two (
@shattawalegh & @stonebwoyb ) artistes will find a way to make peace. We will do our best to facilitate the process . We have our own rules and regulations pertaining the VGMAS, and we will announce whatever sanction they have for both Shatta wale and Stonebwoy soon.“
She also revealed they put in a lot of security measures to ensure such things do not happen but some things are definitely going to slip them and Stonebwoy’s gun was one of them.
“What happened at the last VGMA was rather unfortunate. We unreservedly apologize for that. We had body scanners on the premises to check for weapons and other unwanted items. Nonetheless we may not have been able to scan every single person that came through the gates” .
