The increment was announced on Sunday by The Acting General Secretary of the Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council (GRTCC), Andrews Kwesi Kwakye. He revealed the new charges have been communicated local drivers’ union nationwide, Accra-based Citi FM reported.
The increase follows the introduction of the Energy Sector levies act by the government, which caused the prices of petroleum products increase by about 27 per cent
